A short story about a young woman and her mother who are both trying to find their way among new surroundings and situations
This is a short story cycle combining three individual stories: Heat Rises, Wind Carries, and Leaves Fall. A young Native woman is crossing a milestone in her life while dealing with a vengeful, absent mother, and is trying to balance the forces of good and evil that reside in her world.
Nonfiction
A short story regarding my experience growing up knowing the late Harper Lee and her book's effect on racism in our hometown of Monroeville
